Marketing Budget Calculator

A marketing budget should be split between brand building and sales activation. But what does that mean?

  • Brand building is all about raising awareness on a long term scale to drive future sales.
  • Sales activation is designed to generate immediate spikes in sales.

In marketing there is a general consensus that these two methods should be split on a 60/40 ratio (Peter Field and Les Binet have crunched the numbers).

60% brand building and 40% sales activation.

We understand that it can be tricky to figure out exactly what that split looks like within your business. Luckily there is a handy calculator to help you along the way. Tracksuit have created a tool which turns a few bits of information from you into the ideal marketing budget split for your business.

That could help with planning your marketing budget in 2023!

Howardian Hills AONB

We were delighted to be asked to help with another AONB website, this time for Howardian Hills.

“Emma and the team at Example Marketing are extremely friendly and easy to work with. They have worked patiently with us to develop a modern brand and website which is more accessible, clean and easy to navigate. They have listened to our requests and found solutions to technical issues especially when it came to developing our new Active Map with OS base mapping. If you are looking for a company to update your brand or website we would highly recommend Example.”

Do: Shop local for your Chrismtas Presents

It’s the time of year where our cards get a good swiping and tills across the nation are ringing. This year, why not have a local Christmas with food and gifts bought from local businesses? Support your local community and keep your carbon footprint down, it really does make a huge difference! It’s the best Christmas present you could give this year.

Check out the Buy Local Norfolk directory for local businesses you could buy from or employ the services of. We recently took a trip to The Goat Shed Farm Shop in Honingham where there are lots of lovely local goodies available.
